The Carmel Valley Community Center will be hosting an Open House Affair on June 8, 2002 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the newly remodeled Community Center Pool House and newly  constructed Snack Bar.  Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.  The wine is being donated by Bernardus Lodge.  A live jazz group will be proved by our award winning Carmel High School Music Program.  The fee to attend will be $10.00 per person.  Current members of the Carmel Valley Community Center will be admitted free and membership forms will be available.

We will be conducting a silent and live auction to raise funds for the "Finishing Touches" needed for the Snack Bar, Lifeguard classroom and Pool areas.  Our very own Founders Club will be attending with Phyllis Crockett as the Mistress of Ceremony.  Carmel Valley Kiwanis' Gene Erner will be out Auctioneer.  This is an event you won't want to miss.  We've all been watching the tremendous progress at the pool and are excited to announce that we are on schedule to finish both buildings by this event.  Carmel Valley Community Center board members will be present to give personal tours of the facility.  You will have the opportunity to bid on the actual furniture, fixtures and equipment that is needed for the finishing touches so ALL proceeds will be completely tax deductible.
